CHICAGO Three people, including a 4-year-old girl, were injured in a shooting Sunday evening on Chicago’s Far South Side, authorities said.

What we know

The shooting occurred at 5:25 p.m. Sunday in the 13400 block of South Carondolet Avenue.

Three people inside a home were shot when an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds from outside the residence, Chicago police said.

A 23-year-old man was shot in his right flank and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. A 20-year-old woman was shot in her right shoulder and was taken to the same hospital in good condition, according to CPD.
