TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo mother is desperate to get a new furnace after hers broke in January. Mary Beal said she qualifies to get a free furnace through NeighborWorks, a local nonprofit but has been on a waitlist since February.
“Me and my son, we are in desperate need of a furnace,” Beal told 13 Action News. “I went and filled out the application, did all that on the 26th of January, got approved on April, I mean February. So, from February until now, I have been given the runaround.”
