A Franklin County man fell off his motorcycle and died while speeding and careening across a local road earlier this month, Pennsylvania State Police said.
David R. Newell was going west around a curve on Orrstown Road (Route 533) at Blind Lane in Southampton Township when he crossed the double-yellow lines into the eastbound lane at about 10:52 p.m. Sept. 1, according to police.
Newell, 42, of Orrstown, went across the eastbound fog line and crashed into a guide rail before crossing back into the eastbound lane in an attempt to correct his direction, police said…
