WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Clouds will increase across most of the state tonight as the next weather maker moves in. We’ll see some light snow and flurries begin in western Kansas in the overnight and expand east and southeast Monday. One to three inches of a dry, powdery snow are forecast in southwest Kansas while a trace to 1″ is forecast for Wichita. Highs Monday afternoon will be in the teens statewide.
This quick moving system departs by Monday night and skies will clear out as a strong, Arctic high pushes into eastern Kansas. Expect the coldest morning of the week to be Tuesday morning with lows in most areas below zero.
