The coldest temperatures will likely occur on Tuesday morning. Also, there’s a chance of snow for the area on Monday. Heaviest accumulations will occur over the southern half of Kansas with some locations picking up a couple inches of dry snow.

The greatest concentration of snow will happen over southern Kansas and fortunately there will not be much wind to create blowing or drifting. Road conditions shouldn’t be too bad, but some slick spots may be possible by late morning or early afternoon. By Monday evening, snow will begin tapering off and the clouds will start moving out.
