Mt. Pleasant entered their match against Traverse City West on Saturday without any home losses, but there’s a first time for everything. The Mt. Pleasant Oilers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Traverse City West Titans. It was the first time this season that the Oilers let down their fans at home.
While Mt. Pleasant had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20.
Mt. Pleasant’s defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-3. As for Traverse City West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6…
