NYSP: Cambridge man accused of threatening town officials

FORT EDWARD, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — State Police arrested a Cambridge man for allegedly threatening Jackson Town Office officials. John Deinzer, 63, was charged with making a terroristic threat.

Troopers say they received a complaint on Friday from the Jackson Town Offices saying they received threatening letters. According to State Police, their investigation found that Deinzer had mailed and dropped in-person letters to the offices which threatened to cause physical harm and kill multiple employees there.

Deinzer was arrested in Fort Edward. He was arraigned in Jackson Town Court before being released after paying the $2,500 cash bail set by the court.
