PHOENIX — Is “getting outside more” one of your New Year’s resolutions? The National Park Service can help with that!
Each year the NPS designates certain days of the year to be “fee-free,” meaning visitors can explore the parks without paying an entrance fee. There are over 400 National Parks, monuments, and historic sites across the United States, including 22 right here in the Grand Canyon State.
Here are the 2025 free entrance days:
- Jan. 20, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- April 19, first day of National Park Week
- Jun. 19, Juneteenth National Independence Day
- Aug. 4, Great American Outdoors Act Signing Day
- Sep. 27, National Public Lands Day
- Nov. 11, Veterans Day
