TYLER, Texas — A firefighter from Tyler Fire Department was injured after a quadplex fire on Wednesday.
According to Chief Joey Hooton, a fire began at a quadplex on Erwin Street around 1:20 p.m. While extinguishing the fire, one firefighter was injured after a fall and hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries and is currently being treated at a hospital.
Hooton said the fire began in one unit and spread to the remaining three units within the building. The original unit has been declared a total loss, while the occupants of the other units are in the process of being relocated…
