MINEOLA, Texas (KLTV) – Mineola ISD Superintendent Cody Mize confirmed that Mineola head football coach Aaron Slider will be retiring at the end of the school year.
The Jackets went 2-9 this season and their season ended with a bi-district round loss to Jefferson.
Slider has been with Mineola for seven years, and took over as head coach in 2023 when athletic director Luke Blackwell stepped down from the position. Slider was the offensive coordinator for Mineola for five years before becoming the head coach…
