EAST TEXAS, Texas (KLTV/KTRE) – Happy Wednesday, East Texas! After a cold morning with temperatures in the 30s, we’ll warm into the upper 50s and low 60s this afternoon under sunny skies. This morning was the coldest morning in the forecast for the next week, so if you’ve brought any plants in or covered them up, you’re likely safe to put them back out/uncover for the next handful of days. We’ll stay dry today and tomorrow, rain returns on Friday in the form of scattered showers through the day, becoming more widespread overnight into Saturday morning. We’ll have rain around off and on through Saturday, becoming less likely into the afternoon and evening.
