A 20-year-old man free on bail in connection with another crime allegedly ambushed a victim he met on social media during an armed robbery at an arranged meet-up to purchase an item in Perris has been taken into custody, authorities announced Wednesday.
Deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station were sent to the 1200 block of Mount Shasta Street around 5:05 p.m. Sunday to reports regarding an armed robbery, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
