Angelino voices support for LifeNet of New York

SIDNEY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Assemblyman Joe Angelino is highlighting the importance of medical helicopters in getting patients from rural areas to trauma centers quickly and safely.

Angelino, who represents portions of Broome, Delaware, Madison, Chenango and Otsego Counties, visited the Sidney Airport today where LifeNet of New York is based.

The Republican lawmaker toured two medevac choppers owned by parent company Air Methods, LifeNet which primarily serves Wilson Hospital in Johnson City and Guthrie Air which flies patients to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania…
