Rome Salvation Army needs help to reach Red Kettle Campaign goal

ROME — The Salvation Army is asking residents, businesses and local foundations to dig a little deeper in donating this year because they are far from their fundraising goal, according to Captain Ted Tressler.

The Red Kettle Campaign ends on Christmas Eve, and Tressler said the Salvation Army has only raised about 27% of their total $70,000 goal for this year…
