Yolo County residents interested in gardening or fresh fruit are invited to attend a free Fruit Tree Care Class. The session, led by UC Master Gardener Bonnie Berman, will be held on January 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Hanna & Herbert Bauer Memorial Community Garden, located at 137 N. Cottonwood Street in Woodland, according to an announcement from the Yolo County.
The Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is organizing a Fruit Tree Care Class focused on topics such as pruning, pest control, and techniques for maintaining the longevity of home orchards. According to the agency, winter is the ideal time for these tasks to support a healthy, productive growing season. The class is free, but pre-registration is required by January 24.
