In her decades long career spanning France to Napa Valley, Geneviève Janssens always pursued what she thought was a rather simple dream: to be in the wine industry. She has racked up numerous honors, including being named Wine Enthusiast’s 2010 Winemaker of the Year. On the international front, she was awarded the prestigious “La Croix de Chevalier dans l’Ordre du Merite Agricole,” an order of merit bestowed by France for outstanding contributions to agriculture, and listed in the “Commandeur d’Honneur de l’Ordre du Bontemps,” which salutes leaders in the Bordeaux wine trade…
