On Thursday at 12:54 a.m. a flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. until Sunday 11 p.m.
The NWS comments, “Minor flooding is forecast for Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd).”
“At 135.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Langdale Park floods,” explains the NWS. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued this evening at 7 p.m.”…
