PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – A Portland man faces multiple charges related to the attempted luring and sexual corruption of a child through online conversations with an undercover detective, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph Lee Lyons, 33, is among a group of four other men accused of attempting to lure children online on April 4, 2024, according to authorities. However, Lyon never showed up to the meeting location and investigators were unable to find him for several months.

Lyon was indicted on six counts of luring a minor and four counts of second-degree online sexual corruption of a child in November 2024.
On Jan. 3, 2025, Lyons was arrested in Portland and lodged at the Washington County Jail.
