FORT PIERCE – St. Lucie County Schools and Fort Pierce city facilities will reopen for normal operation Friday in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s impact here Thursday.
The National Weather Service has issued a tropical storm warning for Atlantic coastal waters from Flagler Beach to the Volusia-Brevard County line that’s expected to expire at 5 a.m. Friday. And a flood watch remains in effect until 8 a.m.
