Breeze Airways announces first quarter of profit, cites Vero Beach flights as big reason

VERO BEACH — Breeze Airways made a profit in the fourth quarter of 2024, the airline’s first, it announced Thursday.

Breeze, the only passenger airline serving Vero Beach Regional Airport, made $200 million in the final quarter of the year, and $680 million for all of 2024, an increase of more than 78% over 2023, it said in a news release.

“Vero Beach is a key reason why we were able to achieve this milestone,” Breeze Chief Financial Officer Trent Porter told TCPalm in an interview. “We have seen a huge demand out of Vero Beach, and hope that fervor continues.”
