MIAMI, Fla. – Farm Share, the third largest food bank in the U.S. and the leading non-profit in Florida received a charity check of $190,000 from Publix Super Markets Charities to continue providing Floridians with fresh and healthy foods.
The donation assisted with purchasing a new refrigerated truck, making it possible to deliver fresh, nutritious meals to homebound individuals for seniors and people with disabilities, as well as areas that are hard to reach with standard delivery vehicles.
