INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida — A 14-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place on Saturday, December 21st, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, a 16-year-old male, is currently in stable condition.The suspect was identified through an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Division and has been charged with attempted second-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Sheriff Eric Flowers expressed relief over the arrest, stating, “I’m glad to have the juvenile behind bars where he belongs.
