The Viera High School girl’s varsity wrestling team won the 2024 Barbara Pill Memorial Tournament hosted by Bayside High School in Palm Bay. Viera had seven wrestlers in the championship finals, with five individual champions and nine top-six place winners, including Liz Pinto – First Place, Zahar Zouaki – First Place, Cat Kenney – First Place, Isabel Alvarez – First Place, Emma Hoppe – First Place, Malia Santos – Runner-Up, Savanah Nazario – Runner-Up, Olivia Gapud – 4th Place and Lillian Straessley – 5th Place. BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Viera High School girls’ varsity wrestling team won the 2024 Barbara Pill Memorial Tournament hosted by Bayside High School in Palm Bay on December 5.
The Lady Hawks finished first place in a field of 20 teams and scored an impressive 65 points ahead of the second-place team, Lincoln Park Academy of Ft. Pierce.
