NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The historic snow storm pushed across southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast during with most areas seeing 12 hours of winter weather and leaving behind around 10 inches of snow.
The snow ended from west to east with a spectacular sunset.
Heading into the night, a clear sky takes over and the cold really takes hold. Expect the coldest night of the season so far with temperatures dropping quickly into the low 20s south of Lake Pontchartrain and low teens with even a few single digits possible north of Lake Pontchartrain.
