Memphis, TN – West Tennessee residents should prepare for the first freeze of the season as temperatures are set to drop below 32°F this Friday morning. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Memphis forecasts the coldest conditions of the fall season to date, with significant freezing potential for areas near Memphis and along the I-40 corridor.

According to the NWS, temperatures Friday and Saturday mornings are expected to dip to 32°F or below in many locations across west Tennessee and northern Mississippi.
