VICKSBURG, MS – Three separate reports of shots fired kept Vicksburg police units busy Sunday night. According to the person reporting to the Vicksburg Daily News, the first incident reportedly happened in the early evening near First East and Farmer. A member of the Vicksburg Daily News team also heard these shots.
The second notification the Vicksburg Daily News received was around 7:30 p.m. According to the community member, they heard 40-45 shots in the west-north-west part of the city. The person reporting these shots to the Vicksburg Daily News is believed to be credible.
The third report was in the area of Martha and Grammar Streets at around 11 p.m. More than one person notified the Vicksburg Daily News of the sound of gunfire in that location…
