A Victoria man, Lenar Guzman, 34, faces charges of assault causing bodily injury after police said he pulled a woman out of a vehicle by her hair.
On Oct. 12, an officer with the Victoria Police Department arrived at a residence where a woman said she was arguing with Guzman. The argument then turned physical. While they were driving, Guzman grabbed the woman’s neck and pulled her towards him and then pushed her back. When they got back to their residence, Guzman grabbed the woman by the hair and pulled her out of the vehicle. He began pulling the woman to the residence by her hair, according to an arrest report from the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman told police officers she felt pain from being assaulted by Guzman. While the woman was still outside, after being assaulted, Guzman went into their residence to pack his clothes and leave.
