March 26 was a day to remember for the Cuero golf teams as they showcased their talent at the District 28-4A Golf Tournament held at The Club at Colony Creek. The competition was fierce, but the Cuero boys and girls teams rose to the occasion as they secured spots to advancing them to Regionals.
The boys team finished in an impressive second place finish overall, with a team score of 365, narrowly trailing first-place LaVernia, which posted a score of 348.
The Cuero roster was led by an amazing performance from Waylon Dietze, who not only contributed immensely to the team score but also earned the title of District Champion, clinching victory with an impressive individual score of 78. His competitiveness and skill on the greens were pivotal in the team’s success…
