ABILENE, Texas- Several lifters from Victoria East High School achieved impressive results at the state power lifting meet held this past weekend in Abilene.
Jose Lugo emerged as the state champion in his weight division, with a total lift of 2,070 pounds, which included a record-setting squat of 910 pounds. His performance earned him first place in his weight category.
