Cobb County Safety Village Opens for Family Fun and Education This Summer

Mark your calendars for some educational fun this summer as the Cobb County Safety Village has just announced it is opening its doors to the public for three special days. The event, detailed in a recent posting on Cobb County’s official Safety Village website, promises a variety of interactive activities aimed at educating children of all ages about safety protocols and prevention techniques.

For a minor cost of $5 per person, with a maximum of $20 per family, attendees will have the opportunity to take tours of Sparky’s House, encounter firefighters and emergency personnel, and behold emergency vehicles up close. The event strives to balance both learning and play, featuring a puppet show and teaching children how to effectively call 911, how to crawl low to escape smoke, and more. If you’re planning to stay for the duration, the venue kindly reminds guests that no restaurant or vending options are available on-site, but you are free to bring your own refreshments and a picnic blanket…
