Early Voting Wraps Up: Half of Cobb Has Voted

SMYRNA — As the final day of early voting came to a close, more than 300,000 Cobb Countians, roughly half of all registered voters, had cast their ballots in the 2024 general election.

Early voters rushed to get their votes in before the advance voting period came to a close, with 15,650 people visiting the polls in person by 4:30 p.m. Friday, compared to 16,292 who voted in person Thursday, according to the state’s election data hub.
