Hosamuddin M. Obeidat, 30, of Kennesaw, is accused of damaging multiple faucets, outlets, a window and causing severe flooding in his apartment on Dec. 3 at 2:48 p.m. at 4044 George Busbee Parkway NW in Kennesaw, in the Camden Shiloh apartment complex, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Flooding damage was also caused to multiple apartments below Obeidat’s unit. The property manager estimated that the damage to be at least $40,000 and would take several days to determine the full extent of the damage. Obeidat also spit suspected chewing tobacco into the face of an officer shortly after being placed into handcuffs, according to the warrant.
Obeidat is charged with criminal damage – second degree; and battery – simple battery – police. He was arrested on Dec. 3 at 6:35 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
