It’s time to get those snow shovels and ice scrapers ready, with a big winter storm from the Central Plains expected to impact New Jersey late Sunday night and much of the day on Monday.
While it likely won’t be anything significant for the state’s northern region, the storm could pack a big punch in the southern half of the Garden State, where 6 to 8 inches of snow may accumulate, according to forecasters from AccuWeather, the National Weather Service, local weather companies, and TV and radio meteorologists.
Some forecasters think as much as 6 to 12 inches of snow could pile up in far southern New Jersey. But they stress the predicted snow totals could change, up or down, depending on the exact track of the storm…
