Massillon City Council member Mike Snee resigns from seat, taking out-of-state job

MASSILLON – Ward 6 representative Mike Snee is resigning his City Council seat at the end of August due to professional reasons.

Snee, a two-term GOP councilman, said he will soon be departing Massillon for a career change, a move that will relocate his family outside of Ohio.

“This is not easy, but I feel it’s God’s will that I resign,” Snee said Monday night to conclude council’s work session. “I’ve had a career change that will take me out of state and down south. … I want to take my son fishing.”…
