DURHAM, NC — Florida State fell to 1-6 with a 23-16 loss at Duke (6-1) on Friday night at Wallace Wade Stadium. It was FSU’s first ever loss to the Blue Devils, moving to 22-1 in program history against them.
FSU turned the ball over four times, including three straight turnovers by Brock Glenn in a three-play span. Kam Davis also fumbled in the fourth quarter as FSU was driving to try and tie the game. For the sixth straight game, the offense failed to score more than 16 points. The only touchdown came on a kickoff return by Samuel Singleton Jr.
