WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Two brothers in Waterbury were sentenced to a combined 25 years in prison for their participation in gang activity, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Fourth arrest made in killing of Waterbury 18-year-old
Ezra “Ezzy” Alves, 24, admitted that he and other members of the 960 gang participated in multiple drive-by shootings of rival gang members, as well as drug distribution.
Ahmed “Stones” Alves, 26, admitted to stealing firearms and cars with other members of the 960 gang. He also admitted to distributing drugs.
Ezra faces 21 years in prison followed by five years of probation, while Ahmed faces about 4 years in prison followed by three years of probation…
