Family grieves victims of deadly Oakland shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. ( KRON ) – Families are grieving after a shooting over the weekend in Oakland left two people dead and seriously injured two others. Police say someone opened fire into a group of people during an argument just after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Waltrice Dilliehunt, 35, was one of those killed, according to her family. Her sister, Angel Tanner, was shot as well and went into surgery Monday to remove several bullets. Her recovery is still not known.

The family says they’re sick and tired of gun violence in Oakland and are demanding something must be done to stop it.
