MACON, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Transportation is warning Macon drivers to prepare for another set of traffic shifts in the agency’s ongoing I-16 and I-75 interchange project.
According to a news release, the department plans to change two traffic patterns this week. The first will close the right lane on the entrance ramp to I-16 east, coming out of the I-16 and I-75 interchange. That lane closure goes into effect each night Monday through Friday, from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The other traffic shift will move drivers from the left lanes of I-16 west to the right lanes, starting just before the exit to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and up to Spring Street…
