A judge can decide what happens in case of a probation violation, including revoking probation and imposing the original sentence. In the case of one Macon offender, he was set free each time after being arrested for violating the terms of his probation on eight separate occasions since June 28, 2003. On Sept. 26, he was arrested once again, this time for numerous offenses, including two more charges of probation violation and an alleged kidnapping incident that occurred on July 13.
