Three farms in the Athens area were recently honored with 2024 Centennial Family Farm Awards, according to the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry where the awards were presented.
The award recognizes farms owned by members of the same family for 100 years or more.
The farms receiving the award are the F&M Farms in Franklin County, J&J Farms in Jackson County and the Morgan Tree Farm in Morgan County. They were among 16 farms statewide to receive the recognition…
