Over 167K lbs. ground beef recalled for E. coli concerns
About 167,200 pounds of fresh and frozen ground beef products are being recalled over E. Coli concerns. According to the USDA, over 100 products manufactured by Detroit-based Wolverine Packing Co. are subject to recall after illnesses were reported by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
Fifteen cases of E. coli poisoning were identified in Minnesota between Nov. 2 to 10. The people reported that they had consumed ground beef before becoming sick.
