Arcade and oddity lovers across Michigan have been making stops to visit Marvin’s Mechanical Museum for nearly 100 years. Located in Farmington Hills, the museum/arcade offers one of the US’s most unique collections of coin-powered machines and games.
Started as a side project of a family pharmacy in Detroit, the late Marvin Yagoda and his parents, Marvin’s incredible collection is now homeless after an announcement that a construction project would be demolishing it’s home.
Over the weekend, the Facebook page for the museum shared posts showing people visiting for their final weekend in their original location. They also shared that a documentary crew showed up to help share the stories of people who had stories about their love for the unique collection and games.
