The weekend is ending on a pleasant and mild note in Metro Detroit. Temperatures reached the mid 70s on Sunday afternoon.
Sky conditions will be mostly clear on Sunday night. Lows will be in the upper 40s to 50 degrees in most of Southeast Michigan, but it will be in the lower to mid 40s in the Irish Hills and Ann Arbor area.
Monday
Monday is back to school and work for many people, but Monday will deliver “t-shirts and shorts weather” to Metro Detroit. Temperatures will start off in the 50s in the morning and push into the 70s by early afternoon. Expect highs in the upper 70s to 80 degrees, which is about 20 degrees above normal and record territory. Detroit Metro Airport’s record high for Monday’s date, Oct. 21, is 81 degrees (2007).

Tuesday
Tuesday will still be warm with highs will be in the lower to mid 70s, but there will be a mix of sunshine and clouds. Lows will be in the lower to mid 50s.
