Study Aims to Show Feasability for Passenger Rail from North-South Michigan

MICHIGAN, Oct. 30, 2024 ~ A nonprofit is looking to convince the state of Michigan to build a passenger rail route from Northern Michigan to Southeast Michigan.

Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities recently announced that a study is being conducted to see the feasibility of the North-South Passenger Rail Project, which would run a rail line from Traverse City and Petoskey, through mid-Michigan, and end in Detroit.
