‘Suit Up Sunday’ event will provide professional clothes, resources to Detroit-area men

When you look good, you feel confident, and a local event aims to gift Metro Detroit men with that special kind of confidence.

This weekend, The Right Productions Inc., Van Dykes Menswear of Southfield and Mix 92.3 will present Suit Up Sunday, a community event providing free suits, dress pants and shirts for men, as well as other resources needed to succeed. The goal is to place professional attire in the hands of high school and college students and men in or entering the workforce.

The event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 1-7 p.m. at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheater. Event supporter Chase Bank will also be on hand providing financial literacy resources and information, and F.A.R.M. (Family Assistance for Renaissance Men) will provide wraparound services and information to assist fathers…
