‘Suit Up Sunday’ gives dozens of Detroit young men professional clothes

Whether students needed new suits for a school event or a young professional had nothing to wear for a first time job interview, Suit Up Sunday was there to help, providing free suits, dress pants, shirts and accessories for men.

The collaboration among Right Productions Inc., Van Dykes Menswear of Southfield and radio station Mix 92.3 allowed dozens of young people to receive dressy attire at no cost.

Everything from black and navy to stripes and polka dots, people who needed a suit could find one after shuffling through racks that lined the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre on Sunday…
