A third individual has been detained and charged in relation to a shooting that occurred in May in Melvindale, which tragically resulted in the death of Frederick Coleman Jr., a 20-year-old from Detroit. According to FOX 2 Detroit, Kyren Harris, also 20, from Van Buren Township, was arranged in court on Tuesday. Harris is now facing charges that include first-degree murder and felony firearm possession.

Following his arrest by the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team, Kyren Harris has been issued a $1 million bond. His connection to the incident remains unclear, yet he is the third person to be held accountable in this case. To link definitively the suspects to the crime, on the fateful night of May 9, Melvindale police received a report close to 9:50 p.m. of a shooting near Outer Drive and Seaway, as stated in court documents referenced by ClickOnDetroit.

At the scene, responders found Coleman inside his vehicle, his life extinguished by multiple gunshot wounds. The first two defendants, Taiwan Antonelli Cox Jr., aged 21, and Curtis Damon Harris, aged 18, were previously charged and arraigned in July.
