Incumbent U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Detroit, won reelection to serve another two-year term representing Michigan’s 12th Congressional District.
Based on an estimated 19% of the vote counted, Tlaib, a Democrat, received 77%, while her Republican challenger, James Hooper, received 19%. That’s based on unofficial results compiled by The Associated Press , which called the race at 11:41 p.m.
