SEBRING ‒ There’s a place where you can see Popeye, Batman, Bernie Sanders and lots of trains.
It’s the Sebring Railroad Museum and Historical Society ‒ home of the Sebring Model Railroad Club ‒ at 216 E. Pennsylvania Ave., adjacent to real Norfolk Southern Railway railroad tracks. It is inside the old Sebring Train Depot.
The 39-member club is opening its museum to show off its trains and share railroad history. The four-day open house continues for a second weekend, and will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $5; and those ages 12 and younger enter for free…
