Nearly 100 homes and businesses in Hermitage will have to make the switch to the city’s sewer lines.
Properties on South Neshannock, Virginia and Miller roads all have private septic systems. Now, the city wants to extend their lines into that area and the properties will have no choice but to connect to them.
“The main purpose of extending the lines was really to correct failing on lot systems in the area, septic tanks primarily, to reduce or eliminate pollution of the environment,” Gary Hinkson, the Hermitage City Manager said…
